Estimated reduction in lemon production in Chile
In the 2021/22 marketing year, citrus production is down due to winter frosts in the ValparaÃso, Metropolitana and O'Higgins regions. Peru may export dragon fruit and lantern fruit to the United States next year
Until 2022, Peru has exported 3.5 tons of dragon fruit for $15,000 and 46 tons of lantern fruit for $326,000. These products were mainly shipped to Europe.
