China litchi production decreased, packaging plants to strengthen fruit quality
Now is the time for lychee to be mass-marketed. This year due to climate and natural disasters, the national lychee production has become a foregone conclusion, the impact of early maturing varieties is slightly less, and the production of middle and late maturing varieties is expected to be only one to two percent of last year. According to the statistics of the National Litchi Longan Industrial Technology Research and Development Center, the total output of litchi in the country this year is 1.78 million tons, which is 45.94% less than last year.

Chinese dragon fruit exports to Dubai reach breakthrough
According to Hainan Daily, on May 11, in Changjiang Li Autonomous County, 500 kilograms of red dragon fruit and 50 kilograms of bird's nest fruit from Hainan Shanling Agriculture were packed after passing the eight customs quarantine supervision offices under Haikou Customs and issuing a phytosanitary certificate. This marks that Changjiang dragon fruit has successfully entered the country and been exported to overseas markets, achieving a breakthrough of zero export of Changjiang dragon fruit.
