Exported to Jordan, this 5 t/h pepper processing line features bubble washing, brush & spray cleaning, pre-drying, manual inspection, drying, roller grading, and a 4‑lane electronic weight sorter – all for efficient post‑harvest processing.
Country / Region
Jordan
Fruit / Material
Bell Pepper, Capasicum
Capacity
5t/h
Equipment Configuration
a bubble washing tank→ a brushes&sprays machine→ a pre-drying machine → a roller inspection table→ a drying channel→ a roller grader→ a 4-lane electronic weight sorter
Project Results
Key delivery and production outcomes recorded for this project case.
Capacity
4t~5t/h(limited by upstream fruit supply)
The line was successfully commissioned and has been running stably, with an average output of 4-5 tons per hour (limited by the customer's upstream feeding rate). The ±2g sorting accuracy of the 4-lane electronic weight sorter has fully met the customer‘s grading requirements for export markets. Satisfied with both equipment performance and on-site service from our three engineers (commercial, software, hardware), the customer has clearly indicated follow-up purchase intentions and plans to move forward in the coming months with: A washing & sorting line for conical shape peppers A chili sauce production line to utilize off-grade fruits This project demonstrates that a well-configured sorting line, backed by professional field support, builds long-term trust and repeat business.
Project Background: Why Did the Jordanian Customer Choose Us?
The Jordanian customer initially targeted a processing capacity of 6 tons per hour, with core requirements being: low fruit damage, high-accuracy weight sorting, and the flexibility to process different pepper varieties in the future.
During our communication, we learned that:
The customer previously relied mainly on manual sorting, which was inefficient and had significant weight errors.
They had strict market grading requirements regarding both appearance (color, blemishes) and individual fruit weight.
The line needed sufficient flexibility to process other pepper shapes (such as conical peppers) in the future.
After multiple rounds of technical comparison (refer to our Bell Pepper Sorting Machine Buyer‘s Guide), the customer ultimately decided on the core configuration of "washing + drying + 4-lane electronic weight sorter".
Equipment Configuration

Complete Line Configuration
This pepper processing line includes the following equipment in sequence to ensure low damage and high efficiency:
Bubble Washing Tank – Removes sand, soil, and pesticide residues.
Brushes & Sprays Machine – Soft brushes with water gently clean the pepper surface.
Pre-Drying Machine – Blows off most surface water droplets.
Roller Inspection Table – Manual removal of defective fruits (insect damage, rot, severe mechanical damage).
Drying Channel – High‑pressure air knives completely dry the surface, benefiting subsequent weighing and packaging.
Roller Grader – Preliminary size‑based grading (used by the customer to separate small fruits).
4-Lane Electronic Weight Sorter ✅ Core equipment – In‑motion weighing with ±2g accuracy, allowing flexible grade settings based on market requirements.

On-Site Service: Three Engineers (Commercial + Software + Hardware)
Given the complexity of commissioning the electronic weight sorter, we dispatched a three‑person team to Jordan:
Commercial Engineer – Coordinated on‑site progress, translated training materials, and confirmed grading standards with customer management.
Software Engineer – Commissioned the PLC control system and touchscreen, configured weight sorting parameters, and trained customer operators on daily adjustments.
Hardware Engineer – Handled mechanical installation, sensor calibration, and belt speed matching to ensure seamless integration from washing to sorting.
