Uzbekistan pomegranate is allowed to be exported to China. So far, the country has been qualified to export cherries, melons and pomegranates to China. In the future, grapes, plums and nectarines will also enter China market.
In recent years, China and Ukraine have reached a number of cooperation in the field of fruit and vegetable products. In October 2017, Uzbekistan cherry officially obtained the access agreement for fresh cherry to China, and officially opened the chapter of export to China in May 2018.After cherries, melon became the second fruit item allowed to export to China.
Under the promotion of the new cooperation agreement, melon and pomegranate will work together to break the situation that only cherry, a fresh fruit item, has been admitted to China in the past. It is understood that China and Uzbekistan are currently actively studying the access of grape, plum and nectarine to China.
