Recently, we received an inquiry from a fruit and vegetable retailer in Pakistan who is looking for onion processing machinery. The current issue is determining the right machine for a retailer. Most fruit and vegetable processing machines on the market can be customized to meet specific needs. Since the retailer's production volume is relatively small, we recommend a low-capacity sorting machine.
Currently, the customer is sorting onions manually, “We are cleaning onion by manually process which takes time and sorting is there any solution you have?” which have a low efficiency, processing only 1 ton per day. Considering their limited production, we recommended two of our lower-capacity onion grading machines: a belt conveyor model and a drum model. Because the onion skin easily detaches during processing, we added a brush cleaning machine before sorting to pre-remove the easily detached skin, facilitating subsequent processing.
The machine has a capacity of approximately 4 tons per hour. Due to space limitations, the machine is only divided into three grades. At the grading machine's outlet, the customer can choose between boxing and bagging. Each outlet has a black fan that removes a second layer of detached skin before packaging, greatly simplifying the customer's packaging process.
