Generally, one machine for one fruit is of course the best choice, it will be easier to design the whole line based on the feature of fruit. However, for many farmers plant different kinds of crops, it is our duty to make the machine meet their demands for 2 or more fruit as much as possible.
Based on the requirements above, electronic weight grader would be the best choice. As long as your crops are between 20g and 500g, this machine is available.
Sometimes, weight grader is not the best. “In this area size shape is important than weight.” A friend from Iran said.
Fortunately, after communication we found most of his crops are between 30-120mm, such as eggplant, potato, onion, lemon, zuchini, bell pepper, etc. But harvest season is a little different. Thus we suggest the roller grader with 8 exits and discuss the size of each grade with their engineer to confirm each kind of fruit can be sorted at least 3 grades. And the other function like washing brushing and drying can share as well.
Please note that, not all fruit can share the same machine, the example I shared just for the width at 30-120mm. For fruit which are bigger, smaller, or with different shape, there is different design in our factory.
