Despite challenges such as high labor costs and employee shortages, Poland's blueberry production exceeded 55,000 tons in 2022 and is expected to reach 67,500 tons in 2023. The demand for blueberries is increasing and by 2023, 56% of the Polish population will consume blueberries. Blueberries are sold through a variety of channels, including direct sales, online stores and middlemen. Poland has become the global blueberry consumption center, with 83% of households purchasing blueberries.
