According to Thailand's China Daily, from January to August this year, Thailand's border trade exports totaled 682.184 billion baht, an increase of 38.03%. China Thailand border trade increased the most, reaching 100.12%. Thailand is also the main fruit grader promotion market of First Industry, among which the most popular sorting machine in Thailand market mainly includes mangosteen classifier, longan classifier, avocado classifier and so on.

Zhu Lin, Vice Premier and Minister of Commerce, said that the high growth of border trade was mainly due to the demand of the Chinese market. Thailand's fruit exports to China accounted for 60% of border trade. In August, the growth of China Thailand border trade reached 217.4%, including durian 11 billion baht, mangosteen 3.157 billion baht and longan 421 million baht.
There are currently 97 border trade ports in Thailand, 46 of which are normally open and operating. The next focus will be on opening up ports such as Laos, Malaysia and Cambodia. It is expected that the China-Laos railway will be put into operation in December this year, and the trade between China, Laos and Thailand will be more convenient.
The Thai Durian Mangosteen Association has been calling on the government to open up the domestic railway network with the China-Laos railway as soon as possible, and turn this railway into a "China-Thailand Durian Special Train". Currently, Thailand exports durians to China mainly by sea and land. The cost of shipping is lower, but the transportation time is long, and the cost of keeping durian fresh is high. The transport cycle of durian from Thailand to China generally takes 5-10 days, and it takes only 15 hours to reach Kunming, Yunnan via the China-Laos Railway. Coupled with the journey from Thailand to Laos, you can reach China in less than 2 days.
