Bloom & Tissue Protection: Blueberries possess a natural waxy coating ("bloom") that signifies freshness. Conventional, aggressive sorting drops strip this bloom and induce bruising, decreasing export shelf-life.

Spatial Efficiency: Packing facilities often operate with predefined layouts. The machine needed to deliver industrial-scale throughput without occupying massive warehouse space.

Low Technical Barrier: The sorting machinery needed to be intuitive, enabling immediate operational proficiency for local staff without specialized engineering assistance.

The Solution: An Integrated, Low-Drop Processing Architecture

1. Anti-Rollback Incline Elevator

A continuous-feed system utilizing bespoke high-traction flights. This prevents the delicate round fruit from rolling back down the incline, delivering a highly uniform, singular layer of blueberries into downstream machinery at a locked rate of 1,000 kg/h.

2. Pre-Sorting Impurity Remover

An automated mechanical air and screen filter system that removes immediate field debris such as twigs, dry leaves, insects, and undersized micro-berries before manual handling begins, improving subsequent inspection efficiency.

3. Manual Inspection Belt Conveyor

An ergonomically optimized, food-grade PVC conveyor designed for comfortable multi-operator deployment. Variable speed controls allow operators to conduct meticulous final visual quality checks and handle defective fruit seamlessly.

4. Low-Drop High-Efficiency Grader

The core innovation of the system. Transition thresholds between individual grading scales are kept to an absolute structural minimum (ultra-low drop design). This structural mitigation ensures zero impact bruising while grading the fruit by millimeter precision into uniform commercial categories.
